  • According to statistics, there are over 80,000 hispanics in the Glendale area which is represented in every part of the city. With such a presence and a rich culture, it is no wonder that driving through different parts of the city, you will find sidewalk paintings displaying their proud heritage.

The City of Glendale will host a second meeting to discuss bronze plaques within the Heart of Glendale neightborhood that recorgnize the area's contributions to the City of Glendale.

Neighborhood residents are encouraged to attend to discuss the finalized language for the plaques. Planned marker locations include:

  • Near Cerreta Candy Company (54th Ave & Glendale Ave
  • Our lady of Guadalup Church (55th Ave and Lamar Rd)
  • Barrio Park (54th Ave and Ocotillo)
